AJACUBA


Centro Vacacional Ajacuba

This area has 9 pools, one with a slide, 2 kiddie pools and an extensive area with games, rides and much more.

El Manantial
This is a thermal hot springs with waters that have curative properties, a temperature of 55° C, and many other services.

Toboganes

This area has a simple setup of pools fed by a spring of mineral waters with curative properties.

Los Arcos

Los Arcos is an area with thermal pools that flow from under the ground at a temperature of 35° C. You’ll also find other activities and services here.

Las Lumbreras

Las Lumbreras offers a hotel, waterfalls, pools and kiddie pools, slides, picnic areas, and ample parking.

Templo de Santiago Apóstol ( The Santiago Apóstol Temple)

This Franciscan structure was built in the 16th century. The structure presents the strength and fortitude that characterized religious buildings of that era.

Balneario Vito (Vito Spa)

Two kilometers away, you will find thermal waters at a temperature of more than 50° C, some of the hottest waters in the state. You’ll also find other options for fun here.

MIXQUIAHUALA


Iglesia de San Antonio de Padua (San Antonio de Padua Church)

Built in the 18th century, this is the most popular religious structure in the municipality. It displays some baroque elements.

Capilla de San Miguel (San Miguel Chapel)

This cultural building is made from blocks and glazed concrete. It has an extensive atrium, a dirt floor, and it is surrounded by a modern fence.

Capilla de San Diego (San Diego Chapel)

Located in Dos Cerros, the chapel is currently unused. A plaque at the chapel dates back to 1667.

Capilla del Calvario (Calvary Chapel)

The chapel is rectangular and made of brick and lime. The façade is a painted, level, symmetrical composition.

Capilla de los Santos Reyes (The Santos Reyes Chapel)

Located in the center of the town, this monument was constructed in two stages, which explains the different architecture.

Barranca del Capulín

Water was transported from the ravine to the reservoir.

Templo y Ex-Convento de San Francisco de Asís (San Francisco de Asisi Temple and Old Convent)

This Fransiscan structure was built during the 16th century. It is made up of the convent, the Sagrario Chapel, and the open chapel.

This area consists of simple landscapes and a large body of water where you can boat and fish.

TEZONTEPEC DE ALDAMA

Palacio Municipal (Municipal Palace)

This sober, elegant and functional structure was constructed in 1910 and was made in the neo-classical style.

Parroquia de San Pedro Apóstol (San Pedro Apóstol Parish)

This 16th century temple is constructed of brick and has a beautiful plateresque style.
